We talk a lot about Jesus here at Harmony Church. Why?
Who is Jesus?
Jesus, first of all, was the greatest man who ever walked the planet. Our calendar is split according to His life. Whenever you stump your toe, you call out His name. (It's ok, we do too.) His teachings of life (from sex to money) are incredible. But more than that: Jesus was God. The Guy who created everything we see, touch, hear, smell, and taste, whether directly or indirectly. And He accomplished the greatest thing in the entire world.
What'd He do that's so important?
Jesus, the God-man, died on a cross for us. He took all our garbage, all our junk, and gave us His awesome, incredible life. We know this as the Great Exchange. He then, get this, rose from the dead so we don't have to deal with ourselves and the crap that comes into our heads and hearts anymore. And, the thing is, we don't deserve any of it. At Harmony Church, we're still trying to get over it. We never will.
